Purpose.
Kuforiji Adedamola Victor is the President of Phronesis Global Leadership Group. His work brings together leadership development, legal practice and a commitment to helping people take responsibility in their organisations and communities.
His professional experience includes the Project and Finance Practice Group at Olajide Oyewole LLP, a member of DLA Piper Africa. He has consulted on legal, leadership and policy matters for structured organisations and startups in Nigeria, and has facilitated leadership and capacity-development sessions across Nigeria and Africa.
An alumnus of the University of Ibadan and the Nigerian Law School, Victor held student leadership roles including President of the Students’ Council on Legal Aid and student legal adviser at the University of Ibadan. He also served as a student president at the Nigerian Law School. He is a fellow of the YALI Regional Leadership Center, West Africa, and led the Nigerian team during his programme in Accra, Ghana.
Victor’s interests extend to human rights and access to justice. His work has included defending indigent persons and a 2019 campaign seeking compensation for National Youth Service Corps members who had been mistreated. In 2020, he facilitated strategic leadership training for young leaders from ten African countries.
He speaks at conferences and seminars on leadership and capacity development. His public speaking and civic contributions have received recognition from organisations including the Council of Legal Education, Junior Chamber International and Oando.
